Paradoxically, this is a dwarf form of the great blue lobelia, and a lovely one at that. It increases steadily into leafy clumps that in late summer push up 10-inch flower stalks lined with full-sized flowers. In addition to its ornamental merits, it's great for stumping your gardening buds. Seedlings.
