Ordering Info





Most of our plants are grown and shipped in 3.5-inch-wide, 5-inch-deep pots.  Plants listed for less than $10 are in 2.5-inch-wide, 3.5-inch-deep pots.


HOW TO ORDER:  You can order using charge card or Paypal via our online catalog. You also have the option of e-mailing your order, shipping address, and credit card or PayPal info, using the subject line "Odyssey Perennials Order", to mail@odysseyplants.com.  You can also send an order by USPS with check or money order.  Remember to include the shipping charge if you order/pay by mail.


OUR GUARANTEE: We guarantee our plants to be healthy, true  to name, and artificially propagated (rather than wild-collected). If containerized plants arrive in poor condition, please call us immediately, and we will send you replacements or a refund. We will also replace plants that prove untrue to name. We cannot guarantee bare-root plants, which are required for western U.S. orders (see below).  If any other problem should arise, please let us know, and we will do our best to correct it. We cannot guarantee plants that are improperly handled after arrival.

PAYMENT: All online and email orders are charged when you place your order (see above). We accept only checks or money orders, or credit card or Paypal account information, for postal orders. Businesses and institutions can provide a purchase order number.

GIFT CERTIFICATES: We encourage you to order gift certificates.


SUBSTITUTIONS: Please suggest substitutes in case items are unavailable, in the "special instructions" box when you check out, or as an addendum to your email or postal order if you go that route. Many of our plants are limited in supply and sell out early.


WHEN TO ORDER: Many items are rare and in short supply, so we advise ordering as early as possible. The catalog updates periodically, and orders can be placed any time.

SHIPMENT/PICKUP: We ship WITHIN THE CONTINENTAL U.S ONLY, via UPS and Priority Mail.  Shipping seasons are mid-March to mid-June and late September to mid-November, and at other times if conditions and supply permit.  Plants are shipped in their containers, except to states that require bare-root shipment (see below).  Orders can also be picked up at our nursery store -- Homegrown -- 1 Alfred Store Road, Pawtucket, RI, or we'll deliver in the immediate Providence area for a $10 charge (choose pickup or delivery at checkout). 


SHIPMENT DATES: We do the bulk of our shipping from late March into May, and again from late September into November, but will send orders received at other times in the growing season as soon as possible after we receive them. Please tell us if you need your plants at a particular date. 


PACKING/SHIPPING CHARGES: $12 base packing/shipping charge per order, plus $2 per plant, with a $10 additional fee and extra $1 per plant for shipments to CA, CO, OR, ID, WA, AZ, NM, ID, MT, WY, or UT.  Plants sent to these western states are shipped bare-root, and are not guaranteed.


SALES TAX: 7 percent for all Rhode Island addresses.
