Description

Earthbound rather than climbing, 'Mongolian Bells' forms shrubby clumps of narrow-leaved, sprawling stems which are covered from late spring to late summer with blizzards of white flowers.  It's durable as well as floriferous, thriving in a wide range of soils and exposures.  It's among the many non-climbing clematis that are favorites of ours (and we like some of the vining ones too).  3.5-inch pots.  Zone 4.  Photo: Anneli Salo
