Perhaps the only catmint that we'd describe as "exquisite", Nepeta govaniana would of course be one of the few that's also rather persnickety, requiring mild, moist summer conditions to thrive at a level that will result in late-season panicles of soft pastel-yellow flowers, rather than in a midseason demise. We've raised some robust ones despite this year's obnoxiously hot dry summer, so we'll see....
