Description

Ranking high on any list of large long-blooming perennials, this marvelous, 3-foot-tall mallow covers itself with rich pink, purple-tinged flowers that look like miniature hollyhocks. The inevitable self-sown seedlings are easily edited.  Full sun to light shade and just about any soil will do.  Propagated from seed.  Deep 3.5-inch pots.  Zone 4.
