Lonicera kamtschatica

An attractive and extremely cold-hardy small shrub for the edible garden, honeyberry ripens its sweet flask-shaped blue berries in early summer.  They're preceded in early spring by small pale yellow flowers, which open soon after the downy oval leaves flush.  You'll need multiple plants for fruiting to happen (i.e., cross pollination required).   3.5-inch pots.  Zone 2.  Photo: Doronenko
