Forming low mats of handsome leaves that are dotted with small magenta-pink flowers in late spring and summer, this little-known geranium may actually be a form of Geranium thunbergii.  The leaves turn sunset tones in fall, adding yet another oramental dimension.  Think of it as a lower-growing Geranium macrorrhizum, thriving in much the same conditions

Shade; average to dry soil (drought tolerant); 10"x18"; spring to summer; Zone 5

Propagated from seed; deep 3.5-inch pots
