Euthamia caroliniana

Another excellent choice for the pollinator garden, coastal golden-top bears flat heads of densely clustered yellow flowers through much of late summer.  Although its narrow leaves give the look of a dryland plant, it's actually native to damper habitats throughout much of the eastern and central U.S.  We propagated these plants from wild-collected Rhode Island seed.  Deep 3.5-inch pots.  Zone 4.  Photo: Choess
