Edraianthus serbicus
If you're looking to Balkanize a rock garden or trough, this charming little campanulad from slopes of Bulgaria and Yugoslavia would make a great choice. One of the smaller members of the genus, it sprawls -- in a very compact way -- into low tuffets of grassy leaves, which give rise to spherical clusters of proportionally large violet-blue bellflowers.
