Our native persimmon a wondrous thing, featuring a picturesque, craggy habit; chunky, alligator-hide bark; and showy (and tasty) orange fruit in fall, most heavily borne when both males and females are present. A heavily fruiting tree appears to be laden with mini-pumpkins, which makes both for a very cool and very showy display.  We offer unsexed seedlings, propagated here.  Propagated from seed.  Deep 3.5-inch pots.  Zone 5.

Sun to light shade; most soils; 50'x30'
