Coreopsis rosea
A charming pink change of pace from the brassy yellows typical of the tickseed tribe, this Rhode Island native loves sun and moisture, where it will expand into a 3-foot-wide clump in a couple years. The flowers repeat through much of summer on 18-inch stems clothed with needle-like leaves.
Sun to light shade; moist to dry soil; 18"x30"; blooms in summer. Zone 5.
