One of a fascinating group of vining campanula relatives, this East Asian native dangles creamy, green-tinged, five-lobed bells from twining vines that die to the ground in fall (regrowing in spring, of course).  The tips and interiors of the bells are variously marked with chocolate-purple.

Part shade to sun; average to moist soil; 4-5-foot vine; late spring to summer; Zone 5

Propagated from seed; deep 3.5-inch pots
