Description

Woodland asters are a must for the fall shade garden.  Here's an especially handsome and little-known one with relatively large, inch-wide, lilac-blue "daisies."  The rosettes of cordate leaves recall those of Aster macrophyllus.  Propagated from seed.  Deep 3.5-inch pots.  Zone 4.

Part shade; light to medium soil; 36"x18"; late summer to fall
