Description

The tall, bold-leaved stems of our native woodland milkweed are accented with starburst sprays of white flowers in late spring and early summer.  A much stronger garden presence than the near-ubiquitous Asclepias tuberosa, it's a good choice for anchoring a pollinator shade border.  Propagated from seed.  Deep 3.5-inch pots.  Zone 4.  Photo: peganum
