Description

The neighborhood pollinators will be abuzz if you plant giant hyssop in your garden.  These seedlings produce candles of pale yellow flowers for many weeks on tall upright bold-leaves stems, drawing in lots of friends.  The candelabra seedheads that follow evolve from green to dark gray in late summer and fall, providing an architectural late-season garden feature.  This central and eastern U.S. native is a highly underrated ornamental.   3.5-inch pots.  Zone 4.
