Description

Think of this western U.S. native as a carpeting Heuchera (to which it's closely related).  The rounded, gently lobed leaves form ground-covering mats in just about any not-too-dry shady niche, sending up short spikes of dainty fringed greenish-white flowers in spring.

Shade; average to moist soil; 12"x18"; spring; Zone 5
