Solidago sempervirens
$11.95
Anise goldenrod combines good looks and good taste in one clump-forming noninvasive bundle. A relatively dainty Solidago, it owes its common (and botanical) name to the licorice-like fragrance and flavor of all its parts, which make for a good tea. Clusters of bright yellow tassels arch from the tips of the slender-leaved stems, starting rather early in the goldenrod season. Deep 3.5-inch pots. Zone 4.
Full to part sun; average to dry soil (drought tolerant); 30"x12"; midsummer to fall; RI native
