Description

Furry mats of luminous silver-gray leaves are accented by short spikes of bright violet-blue flowers.   Hardy and drought-tolerant, Caucacus sage is ideally suited as a foliar and floral feature for rock gardens, xeric plantings, and similar garden niches.  Our thanks to Panayoti Kelaidis for properly identifying this plant, which we formerly listed as Salvia cyanescens.  3.5-inch pots.  Zone 5.  Photo: Yuri Pirogov
