Description
Yeah -- we love penstemons, including this smaller analog of Penstemon digitalis. It's a tough little beardtongue, thriving in sunny dry conditions and seeding itself around a bit, which is totally okay with us as well as with the adoring hummers, especially when the white flowers on 18-inch stems appear in late spring.
