An adaptable, attractive native species for partly shaded to sunny sites with damp to average soil, running groundsel lives up to its name by spreading by stolons to form a ground covering mat of rounded rich-green leaves that gives rise to clusters of small yellow daisies on 18-inch stems in spring.
