The borage family is a weakness of ours. Here we indulge in a rare boraginaceous prairie-dweller from the southern Plains, which bears coiling clusters of gray-white, bottlebrush flowers atop upright stems clothed with handsome, fuzzy gray-green leaves. It makes a great garden companion to other prairie plants.
