No, not the invasive Asiatic annual Commelina communis, but the native perennial dayflower from prairies and other dry habitats through much of North America. Entrancing flowers with two large sky-blue mouse-ear upper petals and a small white lower petal open in summer on sprawling stems. Excellent in wildflower plantings and cottage gardens, where it will seed around.
