Description

This richest-hued form of the macrantha line of Campanula latifolia produces large outfacing deep-violet-blue bells on tall stems.  All forms of the species are remarkably adaptable, with plants prospering in most soils and exposures.  Give it some shade in zones 7 and 8.

Full to part sun; average to moist soil; 30"x15"; late spring to summer; Zone 3

Propagated from seed; deep 3.5-inch pots
