The shiny leaves, coppery fall color, and blue-black fruits of this little-known scrambling or twining vine from the SE U.S. make for a handsome bank or pergola cover in partial shade or sun. It grows to 15 or 20 feet tall in moist, fertile soil. Zone 6. Propagated from seed. Deep 3.5-inch pots.
